The elder Issa took out a $4.5 million mortgaged on the 18-story, 800,000-square-foot building. The requesty was made to Schopl fromMorris Horwitz, who was appointedd the Statler trustee by U.S.
Bankruptcy Court Judge Carl The Statler’s owner, , was placed into involuntary Chaptedr 11 proceedings in April as part of a complex seriees of legal actions brought against BSC Development andBashar Issa.
