  1. Thanks Moe for that information! I definitely think that the networks are taking this Auto Hop lawsuit way too far. It's basically the same thing I've been doing for years with my DVR and skip-forward button anyway! It's just a lot easier now to skip though those annoying commercial breaks. Before it even came out, my boss at Dish told me Auto Hop is customer enabled and the commercials are still there, so I really don't get the point the networks are trying to make. If anything they should embrace this new technology and learn how to make advertisements more entertaining for us who have to watch them. I know as a customer I really enjoy this new technology, and love how I can actually get into a show without having to worry about finding my remote every five minutes to fast-forward.
